Sunday, September 15, 3 to 5:00 pm Backspace Gallery, inside Bonne Fête on the north side of the Square Double down with Claire Arbogast and Shana Ritter in the multimedia release of two remarkable novels. Coupled with powerful music and images, hear Arbogast and Ritter read from novels that are centuries apart but sisters in their resilient women standing firm in turbulent times. Arbogast’s If Not the Whole Truth, called “historically rich with . . .searing contemporary relevance” by Kirkus Reviews, is releasing in bookstores and on Amazon on September 10. Ritter’s new edition of In the Time of Leaving, called “A captivating meditation on home, leaving, and longing full of beautiful writing,” by readers, will be available on Amazon in September.
